Counts are rows holding at least one figure of that kind. “School-verified” rows were read from the school's own publication or the program's official service and link to it; every other row is flagged approximate in the data, so you can filter to verified figures only. Also included: 470 published application deadlines, 185 per-school requirement records, and 3,627 cohort rows (US dental applicants and enrollees by state of residence; Canadian medical applicants, interviews and offers by residency).
What a row contains
- Admitted class figures: test-score and GPA 25th, 50th and 75th percentiles, each with its scale (GPA on 4.0, 4.3, 4.33, 4.5, 7-point or percentage; DAT on the retired 1–30 scale or the 200–600 scale; GMAT classic or Focus), and published cutoffs where a system admits on a threshold (the Quebec cote R, UCAS tariff points, CAO points, IMAT).
- Selectivity: acceptance rate (offers ÷ applications) where offers are published, and a matriculation rate (entering class ÷ applications) where they are not, never one presented as the other.
- Volume and cost: applicants, class size and tuition, with the tuition currency recorded per row rather than assumed from the country.
- Provenance: data year, source label, source link and a verified/approximate flag on every row.

Questions
Where does AdmitBase's admissions data come from?
From official disclosures and each school's own pages: ABA Standard 509 reports for US law, school class profiles and AAMC data for medicine, ADEA for dentistry, AACP for pharmacy, ASCO for optometry, and national admissions services elsewhere (UCAS, CAO, hochschulstart, Parcoursup and others). Admission statistics never come from rankings tables or self-reported forum outcomes; where a rankings publisher is cited, it is for the ranking or tuition only. Every row carries a source label, a link where one exists, and a flag saying whether the figure was verified against the school's own publication or is an estimate.
Is the data free to use?
Every school page on admitbase.com is free to read and to cite with a link. Bulk or commercial reuse of the underlying dataset — copying it into a product, a database or a paid report — needs a licence; scraping the site is not permitted under the terms of service. The sample file on this page is free to download and evaluate.
How current is the data?
Each row records its data year. US law refreshes when the ABA releases Standard 509 reports each December; other programs refresh as schools publish new class profiles. The coverage table on this page is generated from the live database, so its counts are current as of the page's last rebuild.
Can I get historical data?
Yes. US law has ABA 509 series from 2017 (applications, offers, matriculants and LSAT/GPA quartiles), with bar passage, employment, grants and attrition from 2023. Pharmacy has AACP applications and first-year enrollment by school back to 1989. Dentistry has ADEA applicant and enrollee counts by school and state of residence from 2021, and Canadian medical schools have applicant, interview and offer cohorts by residency.
Do you cover undergraduate admissions?
No. AdmitBase covers professional and graduate programs only: law, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, optometry and MBA.
How much does it cost?
Bulk licences are quoted by scope — which programs, how often you need it refreshed, and how it will be used — so tell us what you need with the form on this page. The pay-per-call API for AI agents is $0.50 per call, paid by the agent through Stripe; the MCP server for assistants is free.
