You Asked, We Listened

Over the past few weeks, several of you reached out to support@admitbase.com with a version of the same request: "I love the Score Calculator, but I keep having to look up schools one at a time. Can I just see all my favorites?"

Fair point. The calculator was designed to answer a specific question — what test score do I need for this school? — but if you have already built a favorites list, jumping between the calculator and your saved schools felt like unnecessary friction. We agreed.

What Changed

The Score Calculator now includes a My Favorites section that appears automatically when you have favorited schools and entered a GPA. Here is what it shows:

  • Safety, Target, and Reach thresholds for every favorited school, calculated from your GPA
  • Your current match category at each school, shown as a colored badge — so you can instantly see which schools are safeties, targets, and reaches with your current score
  • Click any school to expand the full breakdown with GPA percentile analysis, score gaps, and detailed recommendations

The existing Quick Comparison (top 10 ranked schools) and single-school deep-dive remain exactly as they were. Favorites is an addition, not a replacement.

How to Use It

If you have already favorited schools and entered your GPA and test score in your profile, the section appears automatically the next time you visit the calculator. If you haven't built a favorites list yet, head to your Schools page, browse the catalog, and tap the heart icon on schools that interest you. They will appear in the calculator immediately.

This works across all programs — law, medical, dental, veterinary, optometry, and more. The score thresholds adjust automatically based on each program's weighting (LSAT, MCAT, DAT, GRE, OAT, etc.).

What's Next

This is part of our ongoing effort to make AdmitBase feel less like a collection of separate tools and more like a single, connected experience. Your favorites should follow you everywhere — the calculator, the ROI analysis, the application tracker. We are not done yet.
