Seven User Guides

We wrote detailed guides for every major feature in AdmitBase. Each one walks you through how the feature works, what to expect, and how to get the most out of it:

These are not marketing pages. They are honest explanations of how the tools work, including what they do not capture. Each guide also links to the relevant FAQ section for quick answers.

Suggestions Page

You can now submit structured feedback — bug reports, feature requests, content suggestions, and UX feedback — directly from admitbase.com/suggestions. Every submission is categorised and reviewed. No login required, though logged-in users get their submissions linked to their account.

This replaces the "just email us" approach with something that lets us track, prioritise, and act on feedback more systematically. You can still email support@admitbase.com for anything that needs a direct response.

Transcript Upload: Multi-Institution Support

The transcript upload system now tracks which institution each course came from. If you attended multiple universities — transfer students, dual-degree holders, or anyone with coursework at more than one school — your courses are now tagged by institution.

This also enables best consecutive years GPA calculations, which matter for Canadian medical school applicants. Schools like UBC and Western use your best 2 or 3 consecutive academic years rather than a straight cumulative GPA. If you have uploaded courses with year data, these calculations are now available automatically.

Veterinary and Optometry Data Pages

We added six new programmatic data pages:

These join the existing data pages for law, medical, dental, pharmacy, and MBA programmes. Each page pulls live data from our database — rankings, selectivity groupings, tuition comparisons, and direct links to individual school profiles.

FAQ Cross-Links

The FAQ page now links to the relevant user guide from each feature answer. If the quick answer is not enough, click through to the full guide.

What's Next

We are working on surfacing the best-consecutive-years GPA directly in your profile and on school detail pages for Canadian medical schools. We are also planning additional SEO content — state-specific guides, acceptance-rate-by-score breakdowns, and programme comparison articles. If you have ideas, the Suggestions page is the fastest way to reach us.
